Role Purpose: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. This role involves operating a forklift, safely managing and operating automated warehouse systems such as Laser Guided Vehicles, managing shipping materials, and coordinating with various departments.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse environment (preferred).
  • Demonstrated and effective use of computer skills such as MS office, Teams, OneNote, and email.
  • Forklift experience (preferred).
  • Must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/move 8-12 hours per day.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs/ladders throughout shift.
  • Ability to work outdoors occasionally, exposed to the outside conditions, for short periods of time.
  • Ability to work around moving vehicles/robots.
  • Excellent hand / eye coordination including manual dexterity.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) bump cap, safety steel toe shoes and safety glasses.
  • Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position within the state of Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety initiatives to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform quality inspection of raw material and product using SOP’s as a guide.
  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Correct product spills and clear blocked locations in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Maintain pallet storage areas and ensure proper staging for LGV’s to pick up.
  • Correct LGV alarms and inspect trailers.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality assurance procedures to maintain product integrity and meet customer expectations.
  • Safely operate a forklift to unload finished goods and raw material deliveries.
  • Store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Supply production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels, etc.).
  • Manually pull pallets from production as needed.
  • Maintain files of shipping records and trace missing or lost shipments.
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
