Warehouse Associate- JLL What this job involves: As a Warehouse Associate at JLL, you'll be at the heart of our furniture and asset management operations, ensuring our clients' workspace solutions run smoothly from receipt to delivery. This role combines hands-on warehouse work with technical proficiency as you manage incoming furniture shipments, maintain accurate inventory systems, and prepare assets for deployment across client locations. You'll be responsible for evaluating furniture condition, coordinating refurbishment when needed, and keeping our warehouse organized and efficient. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, furniture, or asset management operations
  • Proficiency with computers and smartphones for inventory management and communication
  • Ability to lift and push up to 75 pounds regularly and walk up to 8 hours per day
  • Experience with hand and power tools, dollies, and warehouse moving equipment
  • Strong ability to read and prioritize work requests based on deadlines and client needs
  • Capability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with office furniture systems and workplace solutions
  • Knowledge of or experience working in a 5S warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Previous experience in furniture warehouse operations or asset management

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload furniture shipments, process purchase orders and bills of lading, and update the inventory management system with accurate data
  • Inspect incoming furniture to assess condition, identify refurbishment needs, and coordinate appropriate repairs or maintenance
  • Process furniture pull requests by reviewing due dates, prioritizing assignments, and staging items for timely pickup and delivery
  • Perform regular asset counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and support client reporting requirements
  • Execute minor furniture repairs using hand and power tools to restore assets to optimal condition
  • Load and unload truck shipments using dollies, moving equipment, and proper lifting techniques
  • Maintain warehouse organization following 5S principles to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
