About The Position

Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health is responsible for materials handling and product distribution within a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and planning. The role involves performing a combination of manual or automated tasks for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, encompassing functions like receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The goal is to ensure the efficient flow of products from vendors to various internal and external customers. The Assoc, Warehouse Ops specifically assists with Inbound or Outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards are met. This position involves receiving products in the Inbound section and shipping products in the Outbound section.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of experience
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
Reach truck experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack by hand or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
Follows regulations to store refrigerated products if working with specialty products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
