About The Position

The Warehouse Associate’s primary function is forklift operation, along with supporting a variety of warehouse duties including, but not limited to, pulling, packing, and shipping materials in accordance with work orders and Bills of Materials (BOM). This role ensures inventory accuracy, product quality, and adherence to company safety standards. The Warehouse Associate contributes to operational efficiency by maintaining a clean, organized work environment and assisting with other warehouse functions as assigned. Works both independently and collaboratively with team members

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
2 or more years’ experience driving a forklift preferred.
Applicants must be 21 or older to apply.
Proven demonstration of safe operation of forklift and other power moving equipment
Strong organizational skills to track inventory and maintain a clean workspace.
Reliability and dependability (consistent attendance and punctuality).
Effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to meet physical demands: standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, stacking, and palletizing.
Basic math and reading comprehension.
Mechanical aptitude for operating warehouse equipment.
Demonstrated work history of safety, efficiency, flexibility, and willingness to learn.

Employees must be able to bend a non-specific number of times per hour and twist their bodies from side to side. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; automated equipment, airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and moving fork trucks. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, hearing protection is required in designated areas where signage indicates it is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Locate, pick, move and store material and equipment according to established procedures, both written and verbal
Pull kits and order materials from designated bins according to BOM listings.
Understand and follow all necessary material handling procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
Exercise great caution and always maintain alertness when operating forklift to avoid injury to pedestrians, other drivers, self, and damage to materials.
Pack and label shipping containers or boxes.
Inspect materials for quality and count inventory accurately.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation.
Stack, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
Operate manual and automatic packaging machines, scales, and printing devices.
Maintain compliance with all Flogistix safety rules and procedures.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
