About The Position

Ensures the work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately. Obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear. Works from receiving sheets, computer print-out, established procedures and practices, written and/or verbal instructions. Inspects items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks and take appropriate action as needed. Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed. Secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Must be able to be certified on all equipment used on shift by Kuna Foodservice.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Must have sufficient reasoning capabilities to solve practical problems (Ex.: Is product commercially acceptable? Is this the product the customer ordered?)
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures. (From -10 to 55+ degrees)
  • Must be able to work overtime, as required.
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Basic math skills

Nice To Haves

  • One year warehouse experience
  • Previous forklift certification
