About The Position

The Warehouse role at E&R Industrial performs warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing – picking, packing, staging, and shipping in accordance to standard operating procedures and safe work practices, as well as general housekeeping to provide a safe and clean work environment. Under the direction, specific duties include: Valid driver’s license Use CribMaster software and vending equipment to process on-site deployment of material at the customer Unload trailers using material handling equipment 1. Including 55 gal drums Pull orders daily Check-in and receive material daily Put-away stock material in appropriate locations daily Process shipments for delivery via UPS, FedEx, LTL Comply with DOT regulations regarding the handling and shipping of material Pack and stage merchandise and complete necessary documents Deliver material to customer daily Maintain inventory accuracy using computerized equipment and other inventory maintenance reports Work independently   The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Able to operate powered industrial equipment
  • Able to operate computerized warehouse management equipment
  • Able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Able to handle 55 gal drums with material handling equipment
  • Able to drive delivery van and box truck (no CDL required)

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years’ experience in related field 
  • Experience operating power equipment (fork truck, pallet jack, drum hand truck)
  • Experience operating RF scanner and inventory management software
  • Experience operating computer based vending equipment 
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Responsibilities
