About The Position

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the proper location and maintaining correct records of all items in the warehouse, staging, or designated storage areas. Requirements

  • Furnish own hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, routing sheets
  • Ability to satisfactorily use calipers, gages, measuring devices, figure gross, net, and legal weights, and convert to cubic measurements, to operate hand-held and stationary computer terminals, and perform SPC as required.
  • Ability to perform work for a minimum of ten hours.
  • Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
  • Able to have organizational skills, regarding the setup of different layouts of the warehouse.
  • Able to stay on task to complete and meet Warehouse Managers expectations.
  • Possesses patience and can perform bin audits as required.
  • Can problem solve if there are any problems locating material.
  • Able to communicate issues when they arise to ensure a timely solution.

Responsibilities

  • Store, retrieve, and deliver required parts and material to the appropriate department.
  • Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment
  • Maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
