About The Position

A warehouse and manufacturing associate is responsible for supporting production operations by assembling, inspecting, and packaging products while maintaining quality and safety standards. Also, is responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. Their key responsibilities typically include: Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Processing Shipments – Unloading trucks, checking deliveries for accuracy, and stocking inventory. Picking and Packing Orders – Selecting items from shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Inventory Management – Counting stock, organizing products, and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Operating Equipment – Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods safely. Maintaining Warehouse Cleanliness – Keeping aisles clear, disposing of packaging, and ensuring a tidy workspace. Quality Control – Inspecting products for damage, verifying labeling, and ensuring proper storage conditions. Following Safety Procedures – Adhering to company policies and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents. Assisting with Documentation – Completing logs, updating inventory systems, and preparing shipping labels. Production Operations: Operate machinery, tools, and equipment to assemble or produce goods according to specifications. Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, ensure compliance with company and industry standards, and report any issues. Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials, transport products within the facility, and maintain an organized workspace. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on machines. Safety Compliance: Follow workplace safety guidelines, wear required protective equipment, and report any hazards or accidents. Process Documentation: Record production data, complete work orders, and update logs as needed. Collaboration: Work with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require technical training).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate machinery and lift heavy materials (if required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and repetitive environment.
  • Knowledge and able to work on multiple computer databases to track and report inventory.
