Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned flooring companies, since 1934! We are looking for a motivated, reliable, Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team! If you are looking for a company where you are part of a family, then Rite Rug is the place for you! Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm! $17 to $18 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years’ experience working in a warehouse or distribution
At least one year operating a fork lift
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavy objects
At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
Strong customer service attitude
Rite Rug is a Drug-Free Workplace – Random drug testing – Zero tolerance policy
Able to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Assists Warehouse Manager with Maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Motivate warehouse team to meet or exceed goals and standards
Communicate effectively via phone and e-mail
Insure all warehouse team members are following all safety standards
Learn RFMS software for inventory and bin management
Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup
Assist with loading and unloading product by hand or with forklifts
Operates forklift safely and efficiently, follow all OSHA safety regulations and perform vehicle safety checks
Insure the warehouse stays safe, clean, clutter-free and operating efficiently
Signs and dates freight bills noting all adjustments and/or damage to product and report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues
