About The Position

Are you a dependable, team-oriented individual with a can-do attitude? We are looking for you! Our Warehouse Team Members serve as a key link between our company and our customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Associate is to be a team player and be able and willing to go the extra mile. A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Team Member with Empire Auto Parts may include: · Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately · Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory · Inspecting products for defects and damages · Examining ingoing and outgoing deliveries · Organizing warehouse space · Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately · Checking, verifying, and filling customer invoices · Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations · Keeping warehouse clean and organized daily · Performing duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Possess a friendly and sincere demeanor
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
  • Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Have previous experience or knowledge of auto parts (forklift training and certification is a plus!)
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus
  • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment

Responsibilities

  • Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately
  • Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory

  • Organizing warehouse space
  • Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Checking, verifying, and filling customer invoices
  • Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations
  • Keeping warehouse clean and organized daily
  • Performing duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
  • Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment
