About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse. This includes processing inventory transactions through the D365 ERP system, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production needs through timely material movement. The role encompasses physical material handling, system updates, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for accurately processing and moving materials within the warehouse to support production and inventory control. This role involves using the D365 ERP system and hand held mobile device to maintain inventory accuracy, creating and posting movement and transfer journals, performing material handling tasks manually or with equipment, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to designated locations. The position also includes accurate receiving of goods, participation in cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy, and assisting with general warehouse maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in computer systems; experience with D365 ERP preferred.
  • Ability to accurately count and measure using precision scales and calculators.
  • Listen, read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes and webbing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet.
  • Required the use of Steel Toe Shoes
  • Required the use of High Visibility Safety Vest
  • Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse or inventory control role preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand written procedures (in English).

  • Forklift and/or picker license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately count, identify, and record inventory movements using the D365 ERP system.
  • Maintain up-to-date material location changes in the ERP system.
  • Participate fully in cycle count programs to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Perform material handling duties manually or using carts, tow motors, and picking machines.
  • Load and stack materials or products on skids, hand trucks, or designated storage areas.
  • Lift and move boxes and webbing weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Operate picking equipment to retrieve products at heights up to 20 feet.
  • Receive incoming goods and returned goods from carriers and Smartsheet requests.
  • Verify and process incoming materials, ensuring accurate documentation in the ERP system.
  • Distribute materials to proper inventory locations or designated personnel.
  • Pick work orders and ensure timely delivery to production areas using mobile devices or computer terminals.
  • Review shortage reports, fill shortages, and update inventory levels promptly.
  • Actively participate in improvement projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Assist Production and Accounting teams with problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe shoes and following equipment operation guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks and assignments as directed by management.
