About The Position

The Warehouse Associate at S&S Activewear is responsible for operating different equipment within the warehouse such as an electric pallet jack and a stock chaser as well as running quality control to help verify the product is correct and accurate. They will also be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment. This position is part of our PRIME division, operating under the S&S Activewear parent company. PRIME plays a key role in delivering specialized solutions while aligning with the broader mission and values of S&S Activewear.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Responsibilities

  • The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
  • Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
  • Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
  • Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
  • Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
  • Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
  • Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
  • Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
  • Must be willing to cross train.
