Are you ready to move the world forward? Apply now. This is an Individual Contributor position with the Site Pro 1 in the Telecom division. Working under the direction of the Facility Manager, and within the guidelines of established procedures, the Picker/Packer is responsible to accurately pick all communication tower components per the packing slip. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for general house keeping of their area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and 6+ months of relevant education/work experience
  • The ability to perform basic mathematical functions
  • The ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, accurately
  • The ability to work over overtine, as business needs require
  • Experience operating a personal computer

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of previous experience working in a warehouse facility
  • The ability to solve complex problems with high attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines
  • The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner and be an integral part of a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Operate the following pieces of production equipment: forklifts
  • Accurately pick, and pack items based on customer orders
  • Inventory control activities including cycle counts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, although most frequent lift is 20 pounds
  • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as well as work in non-temperature controlled environment
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of shift
