About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining handling, storing, and moving materials and inventory within the warehouse, delivering and stocking materials to the proper production locations. Warehouse Associates are expected to demonstrate high levels of responsibility and accountability, working effectively and efficiently on assigned tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in both the written and spoken language of English to a level that will allow the safe and effective performance of the job.
  • Commitment to following and promoting safe work habits (compliance with all Safety/AIB policies and procedures).
  • Ability to successfully organize and manage details, multiple projects, and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time.
  • Capability to lift and carry objects of various weights up to 50 pounds routinely
  • Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to read documents and recognize details at close and distant ranges.
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects.
  • Adaptability to work in varying environmental conditions, such as temperature extremes, noise, dust, or fumes, depending on the nature of the job.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear, including helmets, goggles, gloves, and safety shoes, as required by the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of six months of forklift operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pull materials to appropriate production areas based on established production schedule (e.g., film rolls, pallets, wickets, etc.).
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of materials, including loading/unloading trucks and verifying shipments against load/packing slips.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklift, motor vehicle, hydraulic cart, pallet jack, etc.
  • Ensure all pallets/boxes have the correct label/pallet tag, are properly corner-boarded, banded, wrapped, and weighed in preparation for shipment.
  • Transfer materials between production sites and warehouse locations where appropriate.
  • Perform accurate cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Work in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
