About The Position

Working as a member of Customer Service, the Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This position handles small parcel and freight shipments, performs inventory tasks such as cycle counting and put-away, and assembles kits for stocking and customer orders. Requirements

HS Diploma or GED
Strong and consistent attention to detail and organization
Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task.

Responsibilities

Receiving & Put-Away: Unload, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials using systematic bin locations and WMS tools.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, stage, and verify materials for accuracy before shipment.
Shipping: Prepare and ship small parcels (UPS/FedEx) and freight items
Packaging & Crating: Securely package small and large items including assembly of crates to prevent damage during transit.
Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Kitting: Assemble kits for production or customer orders according to specifications.
Documentation: Review packing lists, add required documentation, and update inventory systems.
Equipment Operation: Safely operated forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Drive and operate vehicles with trailers for material transport.
Safety & Cleanliness: Support a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards.
Communication: Collaborate with Customer Service and Parts teams to resolve order-related issues and ensure timely fulfillment for customers.
