About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock.

Requirements

High school graduation OR GED
Age 21 or older
Three years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or plumbing parts sales organization
Significant experience in using Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat, and an inventory management software package
Ability to identify parts in engineering drawings
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents
Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone

Nice To Haves

Prefer oilfield equipment, preferably compressor, parts sales experience

Responsibilities

Welcome delivery trucks
Pick up orders from vendors
Pick up and deliver parts to other company warehouses
Receive, track, and unload shipments
Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
Tag and label merchandise
Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
Box, wrap and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
Prepare all orders for shipment
Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)
Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse properly
Performs other duties as assigned
