The Warehouse Associate works primarily in the inbound or outbound department of a branch warehouse. As this is an entry level role, experience is less important than personal integrity and a strong work ethic. Employees who learn quickly, take direction, and exhibit the traits of a successful Rentex team member will receive opportunities for advancement within the company. Employees in this role have an area of first responsibility (the department they report to each morning) where they will spend approximately 75% of their time. Any employee may be reassigned for a few hours, or a few days, to work in any other warehouse department. These short reassignments are dictated by the flow of work and the demands of the business. Each employee should expect to spend approximately 25% of their time working in other departments. As employees grow, their area of first responsibility may be changed to a different department.
