Position Overview: The Warehouse Associate - Loader receives and coordinates the distributions of materials, tools, equipment, and products. These duties will included physically loading and securing doors on trucks for shipment. Additionally, this position will be called upon to deliver products to customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 0 - 3 years of experience required
  • Familiarity with door components, finishing products and assembly techniques
  • Experience utilizing manufacturing tools/machinery (chop saw, door machine, router, nail gun, etc.)
  • Forklift certification required
  • CDL certification required
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos
  • Ability to perform basic mathematic functions

Responsibilities

  • Reviews production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine proper action
  • Conveys materials/items from receiving and production areas to proper designated area utilizing a forklift, hand truck, or rolling cart
  • Fulfills requisitions, work orders, and request for materials to shipping, production and/or assembly lines
  • Performs record entry and compiles worksheets and tickets from customer specification
  • Maintains and coordinates inventory management activities for received and distributed materials
  • Performs daily cycle counts, locates and identifies inventory adjustments and errors
  • Determines space requirements and position for shipment trucks and lays out positions of orders to be shipped
  • Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair
  • Other duties as described by manager
