The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse and materials operations by receiving, storing, picking, kitting, and shipping materials to meet production and business needs. This role maintains accurate inventory records, performs cycle counts, prepares outbound shipments, and ensures proper material organization and documentation. The Warehouse Associate follows safety, quality, and 5S standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material flow, inventory accuracy, and a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or materials environment
  • Experience using pallet jacks, dollies, and similar material‑handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable, team‑oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Basic computer skills and experience working in inventory or ERP systems
  • Experience with inventory systems or barcode scanning devices
  • Familiarity with 5S or Lean warehouse practices
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing or production environments

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound materials, verify quantities and documentation, and complete put‑away activities per established procedures
  • Pick, kit, and issue materials to internal departments or production areas based on requests and schedules
  • Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and completing required shipping documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through system transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
  • Perform daily and periodic cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities
  • Assist in investigating inventory variances and support corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Maintain bin locations, material organization, and warehouse layout accuracy
  • Track and report material shortages, non‑moving or obsolete inventory, and damaged items
  • Support kitting and staging of materials to ensure timely delivery to workstations
  • Maintain organized files and records for receiving, shipping, and inventory documentation
  • Follow 5S, safety, and warehouse best practices to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain continuous workflow and meet operational goals
  • Perform other warehouse or materials-related duties as assigned
