About The Position

Our warehouse associate handles the receiving, processing, and storage of inventory, as well as the picking, packing, and shipping as needed. They are responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure a company's logistics and supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently. The associate will be required to be on call as needed to support operations.

Requirements

  • Physical stamina and strength: Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (typically up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail: Essential for accurate order picking, packing, and inventory management.
  • Organizational skills: The ability to keep the workspace organized and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Time management: Needed to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Effective verbal communication is necessary for working collaboratively with a team.
  • Basic computer skills: Required for data entry and using warehouse management software or scanning devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience (preferred): Prior experience in a bonded or non-bonded warehouse or logistics setting is often preferred, but many positions are entry-level and include on-the-job training.
  • Forklift certification: Training and certification will be provided. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving: Unload incoming shipments, check them for accuracy and damage, and properly stage and load products for outbound delivery.
  • Order fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently by retrieving items from storage locations.
  • Transactions: Conduct systematic transactions for inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the company’s ERP system.
  • Inventory management: Conduct regular inventory counts and use inventory management software or scanning devices to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Equipment operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, to move products around the facility.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment: Adhere to all safety regulations, organize warehouse space, and perform general cleaning duties.
  • Documentation: Prepare shipping labels and other necessary documentation for orders.
  • Team collaboration: Work with other associates and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
