About The Position
The Tile Shop is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The role involves reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves. The individual will sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Responsibilities also include completing all paperwork pertaining to inventory, ensuring complete accuracy of store inventory, labeling all orders and back stock clearly, and participating in the cycle counting program. The position requires loading and unloading customer vehicles, processing incoming freight trucks, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Proper use of equipment, including forklifts, is essential, and the individual will be accountable for recording amounts of product received and distributed.
