About the position

As a Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor, you play a crucial role in supporting the retail location by compiling orders, replenishing merchandise, and assisting customers. Your responsibilities include checking inventory, operating a forklift, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, making it suitable for various schedules.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company's safety processes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Restock the show floor with products.
• Organize merchandise to ensure ease of shopping for customers.
• Load out customers with the correct products.
• Assist customers in finding products and answering their questions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of forklift certifications through F&D.
• Certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.
