About The Position

The Warehouse Associate at Hilldrup Companies is responsible for loading and unloading shipments, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and ensuring the proper handling of clients' stored merchandise. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Six months to one-year experience in household goods (HHG) and warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50-100 lbs individually, up to 400 lbs in a team carry).
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work hours beyond normal daily work schedules and on Saturdays, when necessary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous moving and storage or delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Load shipments into and out of storage.
• Take exceptions on inbound shipments.
• Keep warehouse safe and clean.
• Wrap and load furniture properly in containers.
• Maintain neat, accurate paperwork.
• Lift and carry furniture for four to eight hours daily, including weights of 50-100 lbs and up to 400 lbs in a team carry.
• Run sweeper in and around assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
