About The Position

Join our dynamic team in our warehouse. Our mission is to provide an exceptional customer experience, and we are seeking motivated individuals to help ensure the highest quality standards and efficiency in production.
This position reports to the warehouse supervisor and is primarily stationed in the wire department. Team members in our wire department are responsible for winding wire spools to predetermined specifications based on length, color, and gauge ensuring accuracy, quality and timeliness of customer orders.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Basic math and computer skills
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to lift, bend and stand for long periods of time throughout the day

• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:30am until 6pm in our Chanhassen location

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders and prepare proper color and gauge of wire for spooling.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner. Eye protection must be worn.
• Wind wire spools to predetermined specifications and stock on shelves for order fulfillment.
• Use both manual and auto winder machines efficiently and implement strategies to minimize material waste.
• Light housekeeping to keep the work area and stations clean and stocked.
• Process orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all orders are complete and ready to ship by the end of each day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
