About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and transporting. Associate is responsible for the efficient flow of product from the point of receipt to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures using basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be eighteen years of age.
• Ability to do repetitive movements such as bend, stretch, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, and lift 50lbs packages.
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment.
• Secure and assemble boxes for packaging.
• Perform proper rotation of products (FIFO).
• Use handheld RF scanners and packaging materials.
• Operate automatic packaging machines.
• Verify quantities, lots, and expiration dates.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be available to work overtime including weekends.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.
