Your responsibilities will include picking merchandise from designated slots, loading it into trucks, and ensuring that all items are properly prepared for shipment on freight lines. Additionally, you will be tasked with repacking loose merchandise and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role requires physical stamina, as you will need to lift weights ranging from 40 to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift, along with bending, stooping, climbing, standing, and twisting for extended periods. Occasionally, you may need to lift heavier items, weighing between 70 to 100 pounds. To succeed in this position, you must be able to complete forklift training and certification requirements successfully. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for collaborating with team members and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.
