About the position
As a Stamping Operator supporting our Cigarette Department responsibilities will include but not limited to, applying stamps to cigarette cartons feeding the cartons into the stamping machine. Responsibilities
- Walking up stairs (2 flights) to get to the job site.
- Standing continuously during entire shift (minus breaks and lunch).
- Pulling a case of cigarettes toward them that weigh up to 40 lbs when loading the machine.
- Cleaning their machines and performing light maintenance.
- Being responsible for their assigned machines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
- 6+ months Inventory/Counting experience required.
- Ability to lift, stand, push, pull up to 60 pounds throughout the shift.
Nice-to-haves
- 6 months - 1 year experience.
- QC experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Forklift Reach experience.
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60 and 90 pounds, throughout shift.
