About The Position

The Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. The role involves performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery, ensuring the efficient flow of products from the point of receipt from vendors to shipment to various internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working with heights of 20-30 ft regularly.
  • Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, is a plus.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Material Handling Equipment experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established process to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
