About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift Operator certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Builds bulk delivery pallets for customers and loads them onto bulk delivery vehicles in proper order.
• Handles daily shipping/receiving tasks including unloading trucks, verifying shipments against bills of lading, checking for shortages, rejecting damaged goods, and routing merchandise to the appropriate department.
• Operates gas, propane, or electric-powered forklift or pallet jack.
• Assists with general warehouse maintenance tasks such as emptying garbage cans and keeping the shipping area clean.
• Inspects products and equipment for compliance with federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.
• Repackages damaged products according to company standards.
• Participates in the safety program and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
