About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 - 12 months of related warehouse experience required.
• Demonstrated proficiency operating a sit-down/stand-up forklift and reach truck, with the ability to become certified.
• Knowledge of order picking, receiving product, and understanding how to piece orders together.
• Familiarity with outbound product loading/unloading and general warehouse safety.

• Ability to use common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Operate forklift to transport stored items from shelves to package area for shipment.
• Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
