About The Position

Warehouse Associate - Starting Wage is $19.00- $21.00 per hour! Join the Greenville - Spartech Team! We offer competitive salary, incentive, and benefit programs. Most benefits start day one! The Spartech Greenville Facility produces a plethora of specialty products ranging from high quality PETG face shields and covid barriers to specialty Flame Retardant Royalite® products used in aerospace and transportation applications. We are currently looking for warehouse associates to join our warehouse team to support our variety of customers. Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and types of internal and external individuals.
• Good organization and planning skills as well as problem solving.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping documents and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and commit to team goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ERP system software, preferably SAP.
• Forklift Experience.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
• Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming merchandise or material.
• Arrange for the transportation of products.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
