Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house that also specializes in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. The Warehouse Associate – Receiving plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments with accuracy and care. This position helps maintain inventory accuracy and supports timely fulfillment of customer orders through careful handling and organization of product.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse or physical labor role
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Basic computer and scanning tool proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in plumbing, irrigation, or related warehouse environments
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume periods
  • Dependable, team-focused work style

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies
  • Match incoming products to packing slips or purchase orders
  • Accurately label and stock materials in proper warehouse locations
  • Notify supervisor of any shortages, overages, or product issues
  • Maintain receiving records and ensure timely updates in inventory system
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse leads, purchasing, and sales teams
  • Report delivery delays or receiving issues to appropriate supervisor
  • Cooperate with team members to support inventory flow and accuracy
  • Follow direction to maintain pace and consistency in daily tasks
  • Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
  • Assist with inventory counts and product rotation as needed
  • Follow all company safety procedures and use equipment responsibly
