Key Departmental Responsibilities Receives a n d inspects shipments . Accept incoming deliveries, unload trucks and inspect goods for damage ,quality and quantity discrepancies upon arrival. Verify items against purchase orders, invoices, and manifests to ensure compliance with company standards. Sort, la b e l, a n d stock received items in designated storage areas. Update inventory records using our ERP system . Track stock levels and ensure proper rotation of goods to comply with the storage guidelines provided . Maintain accurate log s of receipts , including scanning inventory, noting shortages and overages, and preparing reports on delivery status. Handle all returns, discrepancies or rejected items by coordinating with suppliers and vendors. Work wit h the logistics teams , customer service , and other departments t o track shipments, resolve issues, and support out going shipments . Adhere t o safety protocols when handling equipment . ( e . g . forklift s, pallet jacks) and ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards, such as OSHA guidelines. Ensures personal safety and the safety of others by following safety rules and reporting hazards. Operates in conformance with the requirements of the Diesel Forward quality management system . Assist other employees both in and out of the department . Provides feedback on system needs/changes. Performs other related duties and assignments as required .
