Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Warehouse Technician for its Transfill Division. This role is vital in preparing life-sustaining oxygen for patients. The technician will be responsible for safely filling high-pressure oxygen cylinders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation within a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment. This position is located in Denver, CO, and pays between $19.29/hr. - $19.50/hr. depending on related experience.

Requirements

Experience in warehouse operations, mechanical work, or equipment handling
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to complete vendor and manufacturer training and certifications
Physical ability to lift and move equipment regularly
Completion of a company-wide background check
Passing a drug screen (when applicable)
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if driving is required for the role)
High school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
Positive attitude with a helpful and professional demeanor
Comfortable interpreting instructions and working with various communication tools
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Capable of performing basic math calculations
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to lift 25 lbs or more regularly
Comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, talking, and listening throughout the day
Able to load, unload, push, pull, and move equipment safely
Requires close vision for reading labels, paperwork, and digital screens
Basic knowledge of email and internet navigation
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, computer)

Nice To Haves

One year or more of warehouse, manufacturing, or mechanical experience
Experience using warehouse machinery for loading and unloading
Understanding of home medical equipment and supplies

Responsibilities

Fill and prepare high-pressure oxygen tanks for delivery to healthcare locations.
Operate and maintain filling equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
Complete production and delivery documentation accurately and legibly.
Follow all safety protocols and participate in hazardous materials handling training.
Identify and report equipment hazards or safety concerns.
Maintain a clean and compliant work area in accordance with company, city, and state regulations.
Learn and develop technical knowledge of respiratory products and durable medical equipment (DME/HME).
Support quality improvement initiatives and meet JCAHO standards.
Process orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
