About The Position

The Warehouse Operations position at Cardinal Health involves performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of products from the point of receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to various internal and external customers.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights of 20-30 ft regularly.

Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices.
• Using the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• Following regulations to store refrigerated products when working with specialty items.
• Driving material handling equipment as required by job duty, including order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
• Storing products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picking products from warehouse locations and loading them into outbound trucks.
