This position involves accurately counting and pulling parts, re-verifying part numbers and quantities, entering required information into the system (such as internal part verification, order quantity, and customer requirements), applying and scanning bar codes on orders, finalizing orders in the system, and placing totes on conveyors. The role also includes repackaging remaining parts as needed and returning them to their proper locations. Additionally, the associate may perform stocking duties by scanning products, verifying part numbers and quantities to be stocked, scanning storage locations, ensuring parts in location match those to be stocked, and rotating parts for "first in first out" where appropriate. If adequate space is unavailable, the associate will find a new location using a split stock function or a function for a larger location, then scan parts into the new location and verify within the Warehouse Control System (WCS). The role may require operating a pushcart and/or carousel. The associate is responsible for ensuring TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, meeting established quality goals (measured as "parts per million" errors) and productivity goals defined by Management. Active participation in job qualification audits and strict adherence to all established standard operating procedures are required. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies and being available for overtime due to business demands are essential. The position requires a positive, team-oriented attitude, collaboration with others, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, a sense of urgency, and a focus on delivering desired results. The associate must ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others by adhering to safety policies and reporting hazards. They will support daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost, perform Foreign Object Detection (FOD) and location maintenance to uphold 5S standards, and actively cross-train in other areas as required.
