We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Material Handler to join our evening operations team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse functions, with a primary focus on inventory management, material handling, and nightly truck readiness. The ideal candidate will ensure trucks are properly stocked for next-day operations, verify incoming trucks and materials, and maintain accurate inventory records through consistent logging and reporting.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience working with wooden vaults preferred
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with inventory tracking and inspection accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with scanning systems, inventory logs, and basic documentation
  • Must have open availability for evening shifts (1PM–9PM or 2PM–10PM)
  • Must be available Monday–Saturday, with weekends as needed based on operations
  • Reliable transportation and ability to regularly commute to the location

Responsibilities

  • Load and offload household goods cargo from trucks and trailers into and out of the warehouse.
  • Support evening warehouse operations by ensuring trucks are packed with the correct materials and equipment needed for the following day.
  • Inspect trucks returning to the warehouse to confirm they contain the required materials and inventory.
  • Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect items and ensure discrepancies are properly reported, documented, and logged.
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs and warehouse management records (manual and/or scanning system).
  • Use the warehouse scanning system to scan items into and out of storage and follow all safety procedures and company standards while handling materials and equipment.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure shipments and materials are protected according to company standards.
  • Organize, stack, and handle cargo in wooden vaults safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with warehouse organization, labeling, and inventory accuracy to prevent loss or misplacement and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
