About The Position

North American Lighting Inc., member of the Koito Group of Companies, is the largest tier one automotive exterior lighting manufacturer in North America. As the market share leader in exterior automotive lighting, NAL provides advanced lighting technology, engineering design expertise, and state-of-the-art production capabilities to auto makers based in North America and around the world. North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Warehouse Associate Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will direct, and manage the shipping operations, storage, and movement of all finished materials for his/her assigned area, including departmental personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline plus 5 to 7 years in Logistics or Warehousing and 2 to 4 years supervisory experience OR
  • Associates Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline plus 7 to 9 years in a Logistics or Warehousing and 2 to 4 years supervisory experience OR
  • High School Diploma plus 10 or more years in a Logistics or Warehousing and 2 to 4 years supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS Certification and experience in a JIT manufacturing environment utilizing Kanban is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures accurate and timely receipt, transfer, and control of inventoried materials and transactions for the facility
  • Works closely with internal NAL departments to ensure proper flow of materials and effective support from Shipping and Receiving operations.
  • Maintains, monitors, and improves warehouse inventory levels and accuracy.
  • Coordinates physical inventory activities within responsible warehouse locations.
  • Implements plans for current and future operations to ensure the most efficient use of space, equipment, manpower, and other resources in assigned areas.
  • Manages departmental personnel.
