Warehouse Associate - Loader
About The Position
Loaders are Ollie’s Associates working in the Outbound department of the Distribution Center. Loaders are primarily responsible for the safe and accurate loading of all Ollie’s trucks. This involves ensuring product is loaded properly and accurately for safe transport to stores, maximizing space, and limiting overall in-transit damage. Associates are expected to maintain efficiency and overall productivity to limit the recirculation of product, meet minimum productivity expectations, and maintain a safe and clean workspace at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated to seek work.
- Ability to complete assignments in time allotted.
- Ability to work effectively, in a professional environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done)
Responsibilities
- Loading of all Ollie’s trucks either manually or using Material Handling Equipment
- Ensure product is loaded properly and accurately for safe transport to stores
- Ensure product is loaded tightly to maximize space and to limit overall in transit damage to product
- Maintain efficiency and overall productivity to limit the recirculation of product
- Meet minimum productivity expectations
- Maintain a safe & clean workspace at all times
- Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
