About The Position

The Warehouse Associate Lead supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations across freezer, cooler, and dry goods. This role leads a team of warehouse associates, ensures accurate and timely order fulfillment, and steps in to solve problems before they slow down operations. Requirements

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and make quick, sound decisions
• Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (30–50°F)
• Professional, dependable, and accountable
• Safety-first mindset at all times
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of warehouse experience
• 6+ months experience operating an electric pallet jack and/or stand-up forklift

Nice To Haves

• Experience in meat processing or USDA-regulated environments
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 8–10 warehouse associates
• Oversee picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipping of product
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
• Use scanners and inventory systems to complete transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with USDA, GMP, and food safety requirements
• Enforce safety policies and proactively identify hazards
• Provide operational coverage when team members are absent
• Communicate clearly with leadership and respond to radio requests
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free work environment
