About The Position

As a Warehouse colleague at Macy's, Inc., you will be a critical part of our Supply Chain team, driving success across the organization using a Four Pillars Strategy focused on Organizational Excellence, Building & Developing the Team, Financial Acumen, and Integrating with our Community. This role is essential for enabling our store delivery, big ticket (furniture and bedding), and customer fulfillment warehouses to meet customer expectations by moving products quickly through our customer-centric supply chain.

Requirements

• No Education or Experience Required
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Self-starter in adapting quickly to changing customer expectations and needs
• Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Unloading: Load and unload cartons and merchandise from and to delivery trucks, conveyor systems, etc.
• Sorting and Organizing: Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis.
• Processing: Complete all processing and receiving activities in accordance with productivity standards timelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, sharing feedback, ideas, and concerns.
