Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate III is primary responsibility is supporting the DC Supervisor(s) by overseeing and participating in the shipping, receiving, picking, packing, moving, and storing of Warehouse inventory. This individual may be responsible for subject matter expertise in select areas of the warehouse, such as record retention, selected reports, or serve an area lead. This position works closely with the department on activities relating to, but not limited to open orders, material handling, cycle counting, repacking, housekeeping, and training new employees. To ensure your success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate a forklift or other material handling equipment. You must have the ability to problem-solving skills, comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Hours for this role: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Major Responsibilities: Supports in removal obstacles and addresses or escalates issues. This includes: Scheduling for picking Scheduling for packing Ordering supplies Support of material receipt Solve and Support Shipping/Receiving documentation Issues Works with supervisors and management team to ensure that goals and deadlines are met in a timely manner. Provides departmental or area training to warehouse associates. Receives inventory or material, processes the given information and returns merchandise to stock or plant. Processes continuous dock flow including container, cross dock, LTL shipments, returns and stocking. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed &enter data in oracle system Communicates shipments and inventory levels to the Supervisor Responsible for conducting cycle count by location and/or model as directed Supports documentation management and coordination in area of expertise. Review Physical pallets and load trailers. Moves material from receiving stage to trailers. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Performs cycle counts, and provides inventory validation and verification of data as directed by Inventory Supervisor. Reads customer delivery pick order, determines items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, bins according to predetermined sequence (i.e., Size, type, style, color, or product code). Drives forklift (reach truck, Order Picker, Turret Truck, Sit Down) to Pick/Pack and transport items. Uses a computer/ RF scanner to enter records and record data. Loads and unloads vehicles. Backfill other team members as needed Other duties as assigned
