About The Position

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role within the warehouse team at Innovize, a contract medical manufacturer. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, kitting materials, handling surplus and returned materials, and performing other general warehouse duties in support of production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in material handling, inventory management, and timely communication to internal teams regarding material availability.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving and warehouse operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor experience a plus).
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Roll stock and inventory control experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail with data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
  • Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining inventory accuracy and resolving discrepancies effectively.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and inspection of materials.
  • Support kitting activities by ensuring all materials are prepared for production two days before scheduled jobs. Communicate any shortages to the relevant parties.
  • Manage surplus and returned materials, ensuring accurate restocking in both the warehouse and the ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies, maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with training new team members and covering shipping/receiving duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
