About The Position

Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Warehouse Associate II to join our newly constructed Warehouse Logistics center. This role will focus on the functions of receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate II, you will be required to excel in the areas of safety, quality, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience .
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets, and scanners).
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Reading, writing, and understanding of English language .
  • This position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time. Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required.
  • Must be comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards.
  • Exemplify team collaboration.
  • Must be reliable and report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift, stack picker, and/or manual pallet jack experience, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support daily various distribution center functions including receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping.
  • Transport, store, and stage product.
  • Ensure quality and productivity goals are met.
  • Pull, prep, and complete shipping orders via RF scanners, paperwork, and box packaging.
  • Perform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and provide accurate inventory counts.
  • Build shipping boxes based off variant product heights, weights, and contents.
  • Create shipping labels via multiple carriers by accurately entering contents height, weight, and material; potential for creating international waybills.
  • Utilize multiple computer systems to consolidate orders, complete commercial invoices, and create shipping labels.
  • Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Optional training for forklift and OSHA10 as available.
  • Ensure warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and all safety procedures are being followed.
  • Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, floor lifts, and basic tools.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards within facility and daily workspace.
  • Must be reliable and report consistently to scheduled shift, including overtime hours.
