About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training in warehouse operations.
• Valid Forklift Certification or minimum of 2 years' experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Hazmat Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of warehousing systems and data entry.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage order pulling by accurately pulling customer orders from warehouse shelves.
• Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match inventory records.
• Receive and inspect warehouse orders, matching deliveries to purchase orders and logging items into the warehouse management system.
• Load and unload palletized freight and move products to designated areas.
• Organize and maintain stock orders prior to shelving and ensure efficient shelving practices.
• Safely operate motorized forklift and standard warehouse equipment, conducting daily inspections.
• Manage shipment and receipt of products via various freight companies, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and inspect products for defects and damages.
• Train and mentor employees in accordance with standard operating procedures and provide feedback for their development.
• Perform various administrative tasks related to shipping and inventory management.
