About The Position

Requirements

• 6 months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Strong safety orientation and proven compliance with safety requirements.
• Demonstrated reliability and consistent on-the-job contribution.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to be trained to operate power equipment; experience with power equipment is a plus.
• Experience in detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using spatial reasoning for effective product positioning.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Use power equipment (e.g., forklift) to unload deliveries from trucks and organize received items.
• Assist drivers with delivery and unloading of merchandise in apartment buildings as needed.
• Perform tasks safely, using proper lifting techniques and maintaining safety zones around equipment.
• Receive purchase orders accurately, checking for damage and comparing with invoices or packaging lists.
• Pull products from warehouse shelves based on item specifications accurately.
• Pack and stage completed purchase orders for delivery.
• Verify accuracy of items picked and staged for delivery by other associates.
• Achieve or exceed performance expectations in completing receiving tasks efficiently.
• Train and perform tasks in cross-functional areas as assigned by management.
