About The Position

Shipping & Receiving Personnel II is responsible for the effective control of all incoming/outgoing goods and inventory in the warehouse and maintaining the warehouse in accordance with good manufacturing practices.

Requirements

High school Diploma or GED required
5+ years' shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment or medical device experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn IFS Manufacturing.
High level of passion and enthusiasm
Strong written and verbal two-way communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem recognition
Ability to read, write and speak English in order to comprehend and execute shipping functions and communicate with internal and external customers.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Interact professionally with logistics coordinators and co-workers to enhance teamwork and to foster positive working relationships
Demonstrates professionalism, builds trust, and ensures Nordson meets its commitments
Approachable and relationship oriented
Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
Ability to lift materials and product up to 75 pounds.
Hand strength to package products.
Work performed in a warehouse/finished goods environment.
Ability to operate material lift and select materials
Able to climb ladders

Responsibilities

Maintain all raw material finished goods and in-process material.
Receipt of incoming raw materials.
Ensure proper quarantine of incoming materials.
Data entry for all inventory transactions.
Maintain Visual for purchased materials.
Organize the shipment of finished product, samples, and equipment through packing for safe transportation.
Prepare and issue all relevant documentation, as stated in the Nordson Medical quality system.
Preparation of customs documentation where required and ensuring shipments (incoming or outgoing) are on-time and complete
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
Follow and adhere to all applicable procedures / policies.
Able to use material handling equipment as necessary.
Work safely with various cutting tools.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Maintain Off-site building inventory
Knowledge of the purchasing function
Ability to initiate cycle count
Create building/woodworking
