About The Position

The Warehouse Associate I plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling orders in a timely manner. This position involves various tasks including order filling, checking, packing, and processing, all while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. The associate is expected to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment and meet performance metrics.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick products from fulfillment center stock according to wave pick list and organize on cart.
• Pull warehouse items from shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Operate scanners to ensure proper order picking and accurate inventory management.
• Verify that picked items match the invoice by comparing manufacturer name, item number, and description.
• Check that the quantity of items picked matches the invoice quantity.
• Verify expiration dates for time-sensitive items before shipment.
• Ensure all items listed on the invoice have been picked and verify components for items that include them.
• Count items and verify the count against the invoice quantity before packing.
• Match shipping labels with the corresponding invoice information.
• Select appropriate packaging and follow regulatory guidelines for packing items.
• Weigh packages and determine the appropriate method of transportation for shipping.
• Process orders requiring special handling as directed by branch personnel or sales staff.
• Fulfill client orders to achieve customer satisfaction.
