More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment. In this role, a typical day will look like:
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve minor problems.
- Proficient in using computers for data entry and utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior distribution experience preferred.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Pick items accurately to customer orders.
- Escalate inventory inaccuracies to inventory control team.
- Restock supplies as needed.
- Pack quality products according to standard work and regulation set by compliance department, ensuring quality product is safely delivered to customer.
- Pack hazardous and non-hazardous orders according to pick ticket instructions.
- Audit and inspect orders before staging and shipping. Audits include checking for proper labeling and verifying that the documents match the cartons packed.
- Escalate inventory inaccuracies to inventory control.
- Investigate aged and missing orders
