About The Position

Airtron is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. Airtron is a family of hard-working, dedicated, and happy technicians, residential installers, warehouse workers, dispatchers, customer service representatives, project managers, estimators, controllers, and executives. As a heating and air conditioning installer and service provider, Airtron has earned a reputation for excellence across multiple states including Ohio, Texas, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee. The Warehouse Associate I will be responsible for managing inbound merchandise, processing orders, moving inventory, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and safe for all associates.

Requirements

  • 1+ year prior Warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling inbound merchandise from external vendors
  • Accountable for reading and pulling orders
  • Moves inventory and materials across facilities with forklift or pallet jack
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
  • Process inventory for deliveries to job sites
  • Delivers or picks up equipment and materials to from job sites, vendors or supply houses
  • Reports damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all associates
  • Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
  • Other duties as assigned
